Kellyn Thornburg is a NYC based dancer and choreographer. Originally from North Carolina, she holds her BFA in Contemporary Dance from the University of NC School of the Arts. Since moving to NYC, she has worked as a rehearsal assistant with the Twyla Tharp Dance Company, and performed for Aaron McGloin Dance, John Selya, MElder Movement Art, and Linked Dance Theatre. Her choreography has premiered in NYC in 2016 (“Holy Sounds from a Dirty Mouth”) and 2017 (“Pillars"). In addition to working as a professional dancer, Kellyn served as a Regional Creative Arts Leader for the Salvation Army of Greater New York, and as the Youth Coordinator and choreographer at the Glory Shop at the Times Square Corps. She will be attending New York University in the Fall of 2018 to receive her MFA in Dance Performance.
